Here's an 1865 2 cent upgrade for my type, went from a scrappy VG piece to this one that's on par with an AU grade.

Matter of opinion. And I see no problem for him collecting what he likes. You compare my large cents to Mikes and Lances I collect ugly coins also.

1936 Satin Proof Lincoln Cent. One of the best colorfully-toned examples of this rare variety that I've come across.

The total count of PCGS-slabbed 1936 Satin Proof Lincoln Cents is only 355 -- a tiny population that rivals some of the rarer Matte Proof Lincoln years. Finding one this nicely toned and eye appealing is a true privilege.

This should make for an incredible TrueView. I'm surprised, since it is in a newer holder, that it doesn't appear in CoinFacts.

Picked these up a few minutes ago at a good auction price. Since I have the 2012 S mint ones, might as well have all of them.

This afternoon I was able to cap a several thousand dollar eBay buying spree with the purchase of a 1996-D Olympic Rowing uncirculated silver dollar. It was the final silver or clad coin that had been missing from my post-1981 commemorative series collection. Not only was I able to purchase the coin for 1/3 off retail, but slightly more than half of the price was covered by my eBay rebates.

It has been a good day.

1996 Mint Set, but here was my favorite part of it-the 1996 West Point Dime!
