This isnt really a reject find, but my dad asked me to go coinstar his change (hes also a collector) and bring him back the money. Well i slowly sent his change down the hole and actually found quite a bit of stuff in his coinage. 1-1964 quarter 1-1920 wheatie 1-1957 wheatie 1-1941 wheatie 1-modern 2 euro (small about the size of a penny) 1-spanish 5 centavos (cant remember which country) so overall a nice find for me, i did miss whatever half dollar he had in there tho
I'll take "Rejects" FTW, Wink! This today from the same branch where I found my Quarter Eagle. So glad I dumped there. Another first!
A few weeks a go the first time I ever checked a coin star for silver there was a 1964 dime sitting right on the edge!
Got $254.15 back after dumping $249.80 in dimes at TD, I'll take it. Also got $0.10 Canadian from a Coinstar. HOTN
Coinstar must be righting its wrongs and turning into Robin Hood. Dumping and coming out with a profit??? WOW, Congrats!
There usually is change stuck in the reject but it was only like $0.30 which I put back into the machine, I think someone must have dumped more change in at the end and it must have stopped counting and the previous customer must have hit END, not MORE and printed out the receipt and left the extra couple bucks in there for me. I was dumping dimes only and there was a dollar coin, more dimes, and a couple dollars in quarters left over. I've gotten screwed many times dumping $250 in dimes and coming out with $248 and change, so it goes both ways. I poured them in real slow this time, maybe that made a difference. HOTN
