I actually meant prophets who seem to come out of the woodwork prophesizing the hype based on these low mintage figures and the riches that await those that simply take the leap of faith and buy at jackeled up prices.

These things are going to the moon!!! Just kidding - I think I like the S-Mint ATB rolls more. As a matter of fact, I just bought 5 more rolls of each of the ones remaining at the mint and then I read this thread. Had to jump on eBay and pick up another 2012 silver proof set at close to issue price. And, to make it even sweeter, I turned in enough SQ rolls to pay for it all. Just hoping the eBay set has no problems.

  5. They had 53 units when I posted the link and apparently sold them out in less than 2 hours. I am hoping my friends at CT got it on the deal. :smile TC

The Mint is finally getting back to what it's supposed to do: make products that can be flipped for profit.

They tried it with the 25th Anniversary set, but those were largely grabbed by dealers and wise guys with phone banks.

The Mint listened to the complaints and created some real value available to everyone. El Yunque S-Mint rolls, approaching 4x issue price (oh my, won't the clad coin bashers be jealous!). Silver Proof Set, who knows?

This is good for the Mint, good for the public, and good for the economy.
