Guess the grade of this nice looking IHC. As a hint.....I completely disagree with the grade on the holder.

Nearly mark free and well struck, but at least your pictures make it look lusterless. 63

Its in an UNC details "Environmental Damage" slab.

Its a darker brown color, and the luster is not all there, but I still thought it would grade.

I could easily believe that coin had been cleaned, but I am sure missing that environmental damage.

Environmental damage? I think that this has to be a mis-label. I would have thought that cleaning or thumbing would have been the reason for a details grade.

I would say mis-labeled like Kirk pointed out unless there is some light granularity I'm missing.

The env damage is confusing to me. I was hoping for an au58 when I sent it in.

I would have been a AU but the damage is more of a cleaning to me too.
    Still a nice coin.

Great coin - whatever damage and all.

That coin is what I like to call "a potential bargain."

It sure is. If you can get this coin for half the price of an MS BN coin, it is a bargain. I will be selling this one soon to get the last MS Indian Head Cent I need for my complete MS set (1861). Whoever gets this one should be pleased as they wont find a nicer one for the price.
