I have a haggling problem

    I am entirely with you on that! I lived for 2 years in Hong Kong in the 1980s and got so used to haggling for everything, it would seem unusual not to. As you say, even the regular stores are not immune - furniture, white goods whatever. And of course anything from an antique shop is a must!

    Sometimes you have to wait for the boss or the manager as the front line sales staff have not the authority...

    calm
    cool
    calculating...and never reluctant to walk
