I just got $50 in dimes and $100 in nickels, all BWR:

dimes-- skunk, but found 2 solid rolls of uncirculated 2012 P dimes, what should I do with them?

nickels-- I have gone through 10 rolls so far and found 4 pre-1960 (no silver), a bermuda 5c, a canada 5c, and have a canadian ender. Not great results, butI guess I'll take 'em!

 

10 silver Roosevelt dimes, 2 war nickels, and 1 1950 Canadian dime today, 12/31/2012, to end the year. Good times!

$30 CWR nickels - 43-P and 56

Plus, a seventies obverse struck through a late stage capped die. I got in my change from the self checkout at the grocery store this evening. It's my first genuine mint error from circulation.

Stop one for halves today, $9.50 in the tray... 6 40%
Stop two for halves, one cwr... nothing but had 4 extra coins
4 cwr of quarters... one chile peso

 

Gonna end the year with $28 in CWR of Nickels and 1 war (43'P)

 

Ended 2012 with a 43'P war Nickel and began 2013 with a 1936 Buffalo Nickel

I am able to get extra change ordered from the bank by way of my position at my job ( manager of a retail grocery store). I ordered 2 $ 250 boxes of dimes, one only yielded a canadian silver from 67 . The other yielded 7 silver rosies. Will try again soon.

 

OK, just went through that box of nickels from yesterday, considering them my first box in 2013.

32 1961 & earlier, 7 of them album fillers, 4 of them pre-silver
1x 1943 war nickel
7 toned nickels, including one MONSTER rainbow toned
and 1 penny. However, it is also MONSTER rainbow toned, so I am saving it.
Also, 3x Canadian and 1x Bermuda nickels
Decent way to kick off the new year, good luck to everyone else!

 

I have went though about 50 rolls of halves finding 4 that were 40% silver. The only hard part was stopping at so many banks to get that many. I have gathered up 10 rolls of bicentennial and hoping to sell them for a little more than face.

 

Can we see a picture of the MONSTER rainbow toned nickel?

 

This early morning 1am lol i searched 1 box of nickels and got a war nickel
And a box of Pennies yielded 10 wheats and 430 coopers not bad for the first search of the 2013

 

As of right now, I dont have a working camera, but I can tell you that it has rainbow toning throughout the entire coin and a blue toned ring towards the center.

box of dimes: 2 roosies

box of cents: 18 wheats, best two were a 1929 and 1935-S

and I got another bank to order me a box of halves for next week, hopefully it turns out good.
