this guy is saying some crazy talk that my inexperience is making me questioning. is he crazy or is something really there?? what is he talking about the SN appears twice? don't all 20's have that? what is so special about the SN that it would never be used again? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ONE-OF-A-KI...802?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item416f4dff22
the seller has found a very verbose way of saying there is nothing special about the bill and is hoping that someone will fall for it. Its kind of like a politician saying "my opponent is a homo sapiens and a heterosexual" and hoping people misunderstand what he said....
LOL, This guy is some salesman. He actually is not being deceptive with anything he say's although he should have stopped before talking about how the bill is folded, which you could argue..it has three folds, but i think that makes it 4 folded. Anyway, he is totally correct about the serial # being unique. When the $20 was redesigned, the serial # configuration added a prefix before the Fed District Identifier. The J designates this as a series 2009 $20 FRN, thus, no other series or bill will have this exact SN. What some people will do to try and make a buck! LOL I think everyone should inundate him with .01c offers
Read the second to last sentence. He is asking for money to pay his bills. It's probably to pay off that Jetski he bought for his kid, but ended up using himself and crashing into a pier.
You want the best part, :secret: look at his feed back it looks like he seems to have had an incident with cutting up some sheet bills and listing them as miscut errors.....
Did you see the personal thank you letter-signed and dated from himself-up for $99? I've been hard up for money, but I've got to give the guy credit on that one for his ingenuity and "honesty” on that one...just not the $20 bill that some poor schmuck could take seriously. Let's face it, there's a sucker born every minute and although it's highly unlikely it could sell...
These sort of cheese balls give no credence whatsoever to our hobby! He must think PM collectors are mindless fools with pockets of expendable cash...lol Run Rabbit runnn... fast and far
That thing wasn't even cut evenly (and the serial number should have been a dead giveaway it came from an uncut sheet). Person who bought it seemed satisfied, and technically, it was real money.
