Is this some sort of error/variety?

    The rim around the edge on the right side of this quarter seems a lot thicker than the other side. Is this anything notable? It just caught my eye as I looked at my change today.

    It may also be a simply misaligned die, where 1 die is not exactly lined up with the other. At any rate, the error is so subtle that I would not put the price above face value. Stronger examples command higher premiums.
