Can you spot anything wrong with them? I feel like the color is a bit off for silver but the wearing looks spot on. However some of these did have cross shaped wear on the obverse relating to the cross on the reverse. What do you think?
The first is from York, the second from Canterbury and the colour and wear patterns suggests to me that they were hoard coins that sat in a jug or something for a very long time. I see nothing to suggest that they are anything but the 700+ year old Edward I pieces they purport to be.
They look ok to me. These are fairly common coins in the UK, and if someone was faking them they would be in much better condition overall to make it worthwhile! The York one is both better condition, and less common than the Canterbury one. Edward I and III pennies are flooding the market here as so many are being recovered by metal detectorists. USD 120 - sounds like a fair retail price in the US. In the UK they would be at a coin fair for about GBP 40 to 50 for the two.
Canterbury is a fairly common coin for the issue, but York "Eboraci" is a nice find. At that time York was on the northern frontier of the Kingdom and coins from there are much less common than Canterbury or especially London.
