    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Another 66. Luster looks quite strong.

I'll bet the slight discoloration on the bust wasn't there at grading, and the slight mark in in the right obverse field isn't too bad.

67 would really surprise me, 65 would only surprise me less.

    Looks like a 66.

another one I could have gone 67 one, but figured I'd split the difference on this newly initiated round.

Other than the face hits its a 66. I might have gone too low but I say 64.

I'm thinking those marks are nowhere as bad in hand as in the pics .

I said 64, lots of hits on the obverse. I probably graded a little harsh though, has good luster

Why are we always grading the humble Lincoln cent, are gold and silver coins too controversial?

Because that's what we're grading , and it's better to learn one series good than a bunch of series poorly . There are some expert graders on here where you can learn a lot and use that knowledge on other coins , also because they're fun . :)

Sorry, but that is what I collect. Now if you would like to give me several hundred gold and silver coins, I could post them in stead of my Lincolns. I could even do it with nickels or clad coins.
