A couple of pennies with die chips.

    Here are a couple of pennies I have found with die chips. First one is 1957-D with chip in lower part of B and second is 1953-S in top part of 5.

    Dies chips are very common, especially in areas like these where a post or column of metal on the die is fairly thin and easily broken.

    Who said anything about wasting anyone's time? There is a learning process for everyone, and this may help others.

    Die chips are common and generally don't command a premium, but I don't see anything wrong with posting them. :)Keep up the hunt!

    They may not bring a premium, but I still like to collect them.
