12 boxes today, 11 40%, 1 frankie, 3 '64. Got two more to do in the morning and another bunch to pick up tomorrow, probably another dozen.

Slow week this week and next, thanks to Christmas/New Years being on half my banks delivery day. Same thing next year too, ugh.

    Box of Halves: 1x1968.

I'm at my parents so I'll search around this morning for more halves.

I'm 9 silver coins away from my goal this year of 500 silvers from circulation. I hit up banks yesterday and today for halves, no halves so I picked up a couple boxes of dimes. One box of dimes has a merc ender. I'll post that in the end roll finds thread when I get to a PC

9 away? Time to hit it hard the rest of the year.

Two boxes leftover from last night; 1 90%er.

Off to dump and do it again, this is taking a toll on me, lol.

Haha...that's funny. I had a similar experience with a teller commenting on how old some of the dollar coins someone next to me brought in. After buying them, I find out there were some...you guessed, Susan B's. I was thinking "Old? these aren't old" :p but part of the game I guess...best to not ever pass up an opportunity in this hobby is what I have learned from the short time that I have been doing it.

Anyways, those rolls of old Nickels never panned out. Either they unloaded them or someone at the bank wanted them. Oh well...maybe next time. I do have some results that I will post later (nothing special though :p)

Oh, and I have seen several halves marked with SM and I am in Sacramento, CA.

    Box of Nickels: 27 pre-1960, 1936 Buff, 1943-P War, 2xCanadian

Box of Dimes: It is a Brinks box with plastic wrappers. I opened up the ones with silver edges and stumbled upon 3xcanadians (1969, 1974, 1980) and an AMAZING 1942 Merc. I've never seen one so brilliant...especially from a box of dimes. I'm at my parents so I don't have a picture but I'm amazed at how close it is to BU. I haven't opened the rest of the dimes yet but will tonight.

went through $40 in cwr dimes which gave up 1 roosie. The bad part is, each roll had 49 dimes in them each...

No excuses, you better hit 500. I don't care if you ahve to resort to begging for nickel boxes and end up with 10 of them on Monday.

Today's results, a bit more to do:

    $3 Pennies: 51 copper, 3 Canadian, 1957D

    $10 Nickles: 1940P, 1954D, 1958D.

$30 Dimes: 1 penny, UK 5 Pence, 1 bonus free extra dime.

$200 Quarters: 1 Canadian, 1 bonus free extra quarter.

    $9 Half dollars: Skunk.

    $7 Dollars, non-Ike: Skunk.

I seem to recall getting a couple of other half dollars marked with the SM. Circulation issues, nothing I needed, so I didn't keep them.
