So I called my bank in my hometown where I would be for the Holidays back on like the 18th or 19th, asked if they would order me 5 boxes. Lady said they can only get 4 or 6 but since then I had talked to my Uncle and he said he would chip in so I said how about 10 boxes. She said she ordered 4 boxes and would see if it were possible to buy another 6 for me, I said great. She said they would be in on Thursday (today) so I just called and guess what? Someone else answers and says "We can't even order half dollars because they don't make them anymore" I'm like "let me talk to *******" and they're like "She's not in today, I'll have her call you tomorrow." Now, if I withdrew $2500 and my uncle withdrew $2500, and we don't get our coins even ordered for us, I think we're going to have to have a talk with the person in charge. This is not how I wanted my holiday searching to end up -.-

It's a little town of 3,000 people, I'm only here like 3-4 times a year and if they're not willing to order me anything anyway, I guess I can't really get cut off if I've never received anything.

Went through my $100 box of nickels today. Pulled out a 43-P and a dateless buffalo (my 2nd, and the box right after the first), and a 2009-P which is the first I've found in probably 8 boxes. All in all not to shabby. :)

I had a teller say he had $100 in really old dollars someone brought in. They had to give the guy the wrappers to wrap them. So I did get them. Susan B. Anthony. These young whippersnappers are makin' me feel old, consarn it!

Today's results, not much due to holidays:

    $2 Pennies: 28 copper, 1 Canadian.

    $10 Nickels: 1 dime.

    $20 Dimes: 1 extra dime.

    $100 Quarters: Skunk.

I have a NIFC half dollar. Can't remember the date off hand, as it is put away with the rest. But it has SM marked on it. I am in Los Angeles, where else has SM shown up?

i've picked up multiple rolls over the past few days that looked like someone took a hole punch to many of the coins. the weird thing is i've still found silver in those rolls so i'm not sure why the holes are there...

On Christmas me and my dad were looking through an old tin at my grandparents house and there was a 1887 Indian Head penny. Anyone on here ever find an Indian Head roll searching or even a Flying Eagle?
