This is about the worst Ebay offense I've ever seen. Reminds me of why I stopped buying from Ebay a couple of years ago.

No picture of the supposed NGC slab - [IMG][IMG]

Other years started at $18,000 five grades lower in a three-year-old Redbook - [IMG][IMG][IMG]

The Redbook editors forgot to list that year - [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Just one or two two many red flags for my taste.

He did not post pictures of the slab because that coin is NOT in MS-65.

    Its a discrace.

Didn't feel froggy enough to write the seller, but I did write the one person who has bid on it and encouraged them to do a little research and to look over here at CT for a good education

He must be a little confused. The title states it as MS-65 but the description states the condition as "USED"!

In spite of things like this.

I get most of my coins from ebay still.

I only really use specialist coin sellers though.

I'm not trying to defend this guy but the red book shows the 1799 in quarter eagle and eagle, but the listing doen't say which coin it is supposed to be. your are right though, there are way to many red flags a wavin.
