How would you grade this Jefferson?

And I didn't say it was post mint damage. You're assuming again, putting words into my mouth.

Planchet quality is a grading criteria. Dents, left over planchet marks after striking, laminations, bad alloy mixes, all of those things affect the grade, and in a negative way. They are not to be just ignored as if they are not there when grading a coin.

That isn't my fault, you were being very vague. In fact, I never saw you give a grade at all.

And in most cases the things you listed are ignored during the grading process unless they are severe. Hate to break it to ya, but the world doesn't follow Doug's grading rules.

Nope, I didn't give a grade, never intended to. My post was made for 1 reason, to get people to think for themselves. Does that scare you or something ?

And no, most do not follow my grading rules, although some do. And maybe more than you think. But then they aren't "my rules" to begin with. They are the ANA grading rules.

Like I said in the other thread, go debate with somebody else.

Does it scare me? Wow, you are a comedian today. But it doesn't surprise me that you are hesitant to call the coin AU publicly. The mere insinuation that this coin is AU hurts your credibility. Guess we will have to strike it up to suspect photos and old eyes.
