What is Konnek

    I work at Publix and we have a coin machine...well the rejected money that gets stuck inside I usually keep for interest...I have found money from brazil,peru,russia...well I found this coin that I think is russian but not sure...it was 10 Koneek written on on side and foreign writing on the back...anyone know?

    Gxseries,the smaller currency unit from Ukraine is actually called the Kopiyok,which is derived from Kopeck.

    Koneek is the Cyrillic spelling of the word Kopek, which was the minor unit of currency in the USSR (someone who knows more can comment on if it still remains in Russia, I don't know). Kopek is to Rouble in the USSR as Cent is to Dollar in the US.
