Not sure about "low cost" some railroad notes are pretty expensive. BTW I believe I have the cousin of your note.

Not alot of recent auction wins, got a nice shot this weekend but the mail is gonna be thin the next few days. I do have a new collecting avenue though that should yield some nice and otherwise less common notes, so hopefully everyone will enjoy when I get them in.

Here's another pickup I got Friday, you know if it's lime I have to go after it...

icerain - I meant low cost versus what I've paid for other old notes. Funny you should post that nice $10 note. I won one of those last night! That one cost me more ($92) than the $2 that I posted ($42). I'd like to get the $1 and $5 to complete the set, but need to take a break from spending. Here's the $10 I won last night (seller's pics):

Just got these series 2009 $2 New York Star notes from a short run of 128,000. I've only seen these in pairs....so far.

Well, not much in the way of new notes to report, got a couple left but we'll mix things up with this... got these as stocking stuffers my kids, they think my hobby is lame but whatevah... couldn't pass these up, especially since I also got them funny T-shirts as stocking stuffers too...

Well, the auction drought continues at least on US notes, have some dang ferener notes coming but might be a while, and I haven't sniffed a win since being the underbidder 4 days ago on a 1882BB $5 (would have been my first 1882 national, sigh...). Come on mailman!

Here's a Greek I got in a few days ago - yes, deja vu, as I have now upgraded this note TWICE. Had to as the price was right... three of this type, each one better than the last, all within 5 weeks. I need to seek treatment...

Underbidder underbidder UNDERBIDDER!!! Gah I can't win anything these days. Oh well - I've had enough good luck this last year to last a collecting lifetime, so I shan't complain too loudly.

Here's a note I didn't buy, but got free with that lime green Cleveland I posted a couple days ago. It's a Japanese occupation note from Malaysia, often called a banana note. Hey, who argues with free?

The 1, 2 and 5 arrived today, to go along with the 10 I got earlier. That completes the set. My plan is to put the set in a float frame so both sides can be visible.
