Anyone? Is this pretty common? I couldn't find anything on it but I don't know how to keyword search it either. Looks like the copper is missing in the middle on the front and back of the penny
My guess is that it is stained or something. If a portion of the copper cladding was missing, there would be fairly obvious signs of it. Mainly, there would be a slightly raised rim around the silver colored (or zinc) core of the coin.
