Then if it were me I would send it to PCGS. I'm hoping that you won't lose money on this deal but you have to realize that this may be a real possibility. How long have you been collecting?

Yeah then I would definitely learn to spot
1. Artificially toned coins
2. Naturally toned coins
3. Cleaning, whizzing, etc.

I did the same thing as you did when I was starting. The only difference is that I didn't have a spare $100 for coins when I started but I did manage to screw up many times.
Why don't you PM me and I can refer you to some helpful resources if you'd like. I'd be happy to help put you on the right track in terms of buying and selling coins. Of course that is your decision and I won't be offended if you decline.
