This is the battle of the cell phones. Let's see everyone's best effort when they are limited to using their Mobile device. Anyone up for the challenge?
Here is mine. Shot with my Droid RAZR M running Jellybean. Please tell us what device you used.

Hard to pick, 95% of my ancients gallery in my link is done with my iphone 4s & loupe. This one was a tough one though. It took 4 tries.

Not as good as everyone else's, but taken with iPhone 4 through a loupe. Two new dimes I picked up the other day.

This one isn't even close. I rarely take a coin photo with my phone and don't know why I did with this coin but the result was fantastic.

I haven't taken very many. This coin's iPhoto is probably my best effort. I shows the gloss and shine of the coin even better than my regular camera does.

The iphone 5 takes panoramic photos like this one. :)

My friend has a phone with two cameras for taking stereo photos. The 3D coin photos are kind-of cool but seem to require special software to display them properly.

BTW, my friend's cell phone is a HTC EVO V which has the stereo camera. The resulting 3D images are in a file format .MPO

There is a way to do a "manual" 3D with a normal camera. We play around with it in landscape photrography. You take two slightly differnet pictures at differnet angles and you post the pics side by side. You then do this cross eyed thing to get the pics to merge. When they merge you brain sort of snaps them in place and you see a 3D image. It actually works well. I can give it a try with coins but because they coin is reletively flat, i don't expect the result would be stellar. It works best with landscapes like winding paths and such.

the macro zoom on my phone is awesome. i don't even mess with the white balance either. i just leave it on auto. seems to do the trick quite well. i have about 75 morgan dollars i need to image so we shall see how they come out.

I think Lehigh96's photo is a perfect example of how lighting is everything. Great photo by the way.

Mikem2000 is jellybean the app needed to upload?
I have a samsung admire but I think it might need
something else. Like maybe a hammer.

No, Jellybean is the version of the Android OS. Your phone has Gingerbread I believe. If you are uploading to one of the major file sharing sites, you should be able to find an app. I use photofolio for the photobucket site.
