Are these bumps common

    Yes I'm talking about the coin not on my junk lol.
    Ive found this texture of bumps or bubbles or what ever you call it. And what is this called?
    is this something common? Worth more than face value? I've never seen this referenced any where

    Those bubbles are fairly common for cents from the 80's and early 90's. It's a plating issue which is often most prominent in 82, 83 when the mint was still experimenting with the new zinc+copper coating. Always fun to find one with a bubble big enough to pop.

    Maybe that's what the black spot in the reverse is. A popped bubble that some grease or something in it. Is there a collector value?
