Does anyone no any specifics or value to a coin likethis. It is bronze on both sides? Any info would be helpful. Please see attatched photo.

I'd say stripped of it's clad outer layer some how.

A normal '71 Kennedy should weigh 11.34 gms.

Correct in that the starting point for ANY attribution of this type should be with weighing the coin. If the coin weighs within tolerance then the bronze color is due to some outside force acting upon the coins alloy.

Additionally, a coin missing and of the clad layering should be noticeably weak in strike.

Unless, of course, Chris would like to post his 2001 Kennedy which is missing a clad layer?? Some nice close ups might shut me up!
