I got the itch and had a few minutes at lunch, so I swung by 2 banks.

    Bank 1: 1 Half dollar - Skunk
    Bank 2: 2 Half dollars - 1 Skunk; 1 x 1967 Ken
    $50 in CRDimes - Skunk

My first silver hunting since April. When she pulled them out of her drawer I didn't need to see it...I heard that sweet sound! I knew!

Now I'm back to drooling all over myself, sweating, and shaking uncontrollably from the Silver Jones!

However, I have to remind myself why I took a break....days like this happened about 1 out of every 40-50 bank visits!

Either way...it was a fun day!

Picked up two boxes of halves today. I put them in the front seat of the new car and it dinged until I buckled the halves up. I guess it can detect a 50lb and a 25lb passenger in the front seat. The boxes were heavily marked with dark blue in the bottom corner of the face of the coin. I did find silver in the first box, I'll do the second box later tonight and post results for both boxes.

$500 coin counter quarter bag gave up a '64! This is my first silver washington quarter since the one I found in vending machine change - the coin that got me in to CRH in the first place.

    Box of Halves: 1x40% (1967), 2 Awful Lookin' Proofs (1990 S, 2005 S) and a 1987 P.
That '87 will go nicely with the 1987D that I found a month or so ago.

Mmmmmm...them cookies sound good!!! Best I've found so far is 3.5 a cookie. I'll have to keep callin' around to find a better baker...

...or maybe wait for a show to come around my area.

Thank you very much for your input - Fade, Inquisitive and rockyaknow...I have been researching and weighing out the different options because the 40% are stackin' up and I am more interested in the 90% (obviously)...considering 3.5, but still gonna hold off a bit.
