I find this to be very amazing that someone would spend this note but then again i guess With the times the way they are people will spend just about anything that has value Would like to get some info on this condition looks XF+ to A/U
Always nice to find these in the wild! Gives you a little thrill! Unfortunetly, this star is older but not scarce. Schwartz/Lindquist lists 16,640,000 printed and quotes CH CU at 25 and Gem at 30. The scan looks VF - XF to me but haveing a note in hand can give you a better idea... Thanks for sharing. People look at me weird all the time because as someone gives me cash I cant resist scanning each note for an error or star... They probably think I am crazy and they may be right...
I don't believe you got that at Walmart. No gold (iodine) ink all over it? Usually, Walmart clerks tear these up, and call the police when presented with this type of note.
I spent a well worn $100 from Series 1950-D at Wal-Mart a couple of years back and the clerk didn't even give it a second look. Of course she was a "mature" citizen in PC language.
True! i to found this very unusual but what it is is what it is!! it looks like the value isnt so much Though but i think i will still keep it ")
