Quite a few Gaius, (Caligula) coins exist. Not as many as WOULD have, since he had a damnatio memoria declared and all likenesses were supposed to have been destroyed, but you cannot track down all coins of course. In any event, there are other Roman emperors much worst. Google Elagabalus for one. Gaius appalled the senate more by not playing the game of pretending Rome was still a republic than his other actions.

The answer for me to the OP would be numerous; Ardashir, Alexander II, Ptolemy, Octavian, Trajan, Irene, Napolean, Churchill, Jefferson, etc. There are even a few "special" people I would like to meet, (with a pistol in hand).

 

My choice would be Abraham Lincoln.

 

I just recently saw the old unedited movie with Malcolm McDowell and Peter O'Toole. Those ARE some wild parties!

 

Considering Larry Flynt was who bankrolled production of the movie, I think the movie says more about his tastes that Gaius'.
