Some of the better examples from my Canadian nickel dollar lowball collection. Due to the very low mintages, and the fact that most of these coins never really circulated much, it has been a challenge finding pocket pieces for this series.

Jeez .. and all you give me are the bright and shiny ones! With the price of nickel right now, I think that most of these are in that great melting spot in the sky.

 

So you are collecting the worst condition coins you can find?

 

Yes - easier said than done... Low ball sets are very popular in the US numismatic world, less so for Canadian coins, except maybe with silver dollars.
