jimmy, If you haven't used the "Open" forum this week, you can post your 'want list' there. Trust me, a lot of people will see it. Good luck!
i think ive found cheap 2003 editions on a bookseller site ex library 12.99 usd for the 1901-date,sounds goiod to me just trying to find a copy in the uk now as shipping will be expensive for that im sure
Yes, that is a good deal. You can be sure that the knowledge you gain from that one book will be worth many times the price you pay for it.
yup the thing im find though jody is a lot of the stuff i put up for auction just does not make notging i have good ads and i right categories too. for instance last week i sold a load of usa coins for like 25 cents hehe, seems a lot of stuff people just aint intrested in buying. im think i need to hunt out dealers who buy items than posting a lot of it on ebay. check out my nick on ebay and you will see what i mean
Actually they sell many more than 4 books and catalogs, but the Standard Catalog of World Coins is presently sold in four big city telephone book-size volumes. The 17th, 18th and 19th Century volumes (1601-1900) are all in their 3rd Editions. I don't remember now which one is expected to go into a 4th Ed. soon. The 20th/21st Century volume's 2005 32nd Ed. was published a few months ago. They sometimes appear on eBay, and you can also check the Amazon and Barnes & Noble web sites for used books, but my favorite source for used books is Alibris. There is a link in my posting in the FAQ section.
