I found this coin while roll searching and after non_cents posted a 2006 I started paying more attention to them. I still haven't gotten the doubled die vs machine doubling down pat; however, I feel more certain that this is a doubled die. I looked on www.coppercoins.com at the 7 pages of varieties to see which one this coin would be. However, while I could match one area...another area would not match. I first thought it could be 002 or 015 but looking more into the pics posted this one doesn't match.

Another problem I have with this cent is there is prominent doubling on the obverse but there is also doubling on the reverse. I thought it can't be on both sides.

Thank you in advance for all observations/conclusions.

ps~I've posted the first 5 of lots of pics and will continue posting the other ones (close ups).

I believe what you are seeing is just light reflection on a shiny cent. Keep up the hunt!

Yea...I figured that out after looking at it some more AFTER I posted it. Didn't know how to delete the thread.
