Hello everyone, I attended the 2023 NYINC show on Friday evening. I couldn't attend Saturday's event because I promised my wife we were going to an Orchid Show in New Brunswick NJ Anyhow.. I had a limit of $100.00 set and that's exactly how much I spent for 2 coins and paper currency. Coin #1 - Macedon Kassander 305-297 BC Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: BASILEWS KASSANDROY. Rider on horseback right, raising right hand. Coin #2 - Valentinian II AE3 / Victory Misc goodies

I have NEVER been to a auction/ or big Coin Show. Knowing myself/ I might tell myself, "John your max. spending allowance is $100". But, If I saw something really nice/ I would want it and go for it. Happened in the Summer/ 2018, it was really gross outside 35 celsius. So, I decided to stop cutting lawns and brouse the coin shop in vicinity. He usually only has crappy Canadian stuff in display cases. I threw my t-shirt on and explored his material. Well/ I right away noted a NGC PF-65 Prussia Friedrich III AV 10 Mark 1888-A @ $800 Canadian. It asked him if I gave him cash to not include HST/ he ended up selling me that GEM for 7 $100 Dollar bills. That made my day, I celebrated at next client with a cold Corona I forgot about the oppressive humidity/ heat rest of my work day/ still was 33 cel at 9:00PM when I packed it in. I made up the money for my new coin that afternoon/ evening.....
