Need help on this 1952D RPM (part 1)

    I have been studying this coin for a couple of weeks now and the closest match I can find on Copercoins.com is the 1952D-1MM-021. I don't know if it is an earlier or later die stage than what they have attributed. Thoughts? (More pictures in part 2)

    I see split upper and lower serifs, so it is an RPM, but I believe the other anomaly is simply die damage. Keep up the hunt!

    This variety in the mid die state actually has a very noticeable die crack connecting the bottom of the 9 and the mint mark. I'm wondering if all the other lines are die cracks or die gouges.
