I am on it. Thanks! Love the stories and hope to read more, especially about your coin research and purchasing experiences.

Found the area. It appears there are several wrecks.

Doug, I was not questioning your veracity. You are without a doubt an adventurer, just as Clive Cussler writes about. Maybe you should send him some of your (copywrited) material for his next book. Your Alaskan and Keys stories are great. Thanks for sharing.

An adventurer ? LOL ! Not a phrase I have ever heard anyone use to describe me Dave. It was usually something more along the lines of "he's adjective, adjective, crazy !"

As for you other two - that's how rumors get started

Well, no. But I did manage to free-climb the tallest of The Three Patriarchs, (the one in the middle) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_Three_Patriarchs_in_Zion_Canyon.jpg - while wearing cowboys boots. Well almost anyway. I mapped out a route from the ground and took off. Got to within 10 ft. of the top - couldn't make that last 10 ft. So I had to turn around go back down. THAT was the scary part !

Yeah, that was another of those - "you're freakin crazy" events ;) That's kinda sorta what the guy I was with said anyway :D He stayed on the ground and watched.

That looks near impossible without equipment and at least one other person along. Now, I cannot imagine Dirk Pitt without a cowboy hat. :smile

I used to have a saying when I was in business - For you , the difficult can be done almost immediately. The impossible, just takes a little longer ;)

edit - nahhhhhh, Dirk doesn't wear hats :D

That is a great attitude that I need to adopt wholeheartedly.
