Large Cent vs. Flying Eagle Cent

If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the large cent or the Flying Eagle cent?

Flying eagle.
The only large cents I like are pre-1808. After that I think the obverses are ugly.

 

I don't have any of either, but I definately like the looks of the flying eagle better

 

Flying eagle. I love the reverse and the eagle seems very patriotic, which I live for in coins and tokens.

 

AGONY!!!! I refuse to choose!! The Flying Eagle is my all time favorite coin and has been for many many years. The issue is there are only 4 of them. The large cents have a nice varity and no real difficulty obtaining nice examples of each type if not all key dates and varities.

Large cent for me. Don't beat me up, but I think FE cents look boring...:taped-shut:

Flying eagle here. I have a few but barely passable for Good.

 

Good thing it is double elimination.

 

I love the FE design. Too bad it was a flash in the pan.

It's hardly even a series. What...3 years? And the 1856 costs moon money so it's really just two coins. Even with an overdate, a DDO, and a lg/sm letters it's still only 5 coins.

A better poll would be large cents vs. IHC's. Maybe that's out there. Sure are a lot of polls going on.

Anyway, give me old, large 100% copper with all its variety and history. Give me a series with challenges and something to go after; there's the fun. I think I finished my FE set in a couple of hours.
