1987 Penny with doubling (i hope)

    Found this 1987 penny with what looks like 2 types of doubling. The "9" in 1987 is either double die or with my luck machine doubling and the "87" in 1987 along with the "D" in the mint mark has some sort of ghost doubling. Let me know what you guys think and as always thank you in advance for your help.

    Looks like plating issues. Can you get close up shots?

    I see what he means but dont know what it's called but you can see a doubling click on the pic then click again until you see a magnifing icon then click on that then you can see much better

    Yes. I am still asking if the OP can get closer pics. I am pretty sure it is plating issues, but even closer pics will help.

    Just plating issues. Common with the zincolns.

    OK, my bad. The pic gets pretty big. Looks like some kind of doubling is occurring to which I lean towards MD. So, I would say MD and plating issues.

    Plating issues on the 87 and mintmark. Looks like a little machine doubling on the 9. Keep up the hunt!
