This morning i acquired a few more American coins: a 1976 centenary dollar and two large cents dated 1838 and 1853 (both with a hole drilled in them). Additionally i picked up an 1888 Jamaican penny and large silver Austrian Maria Teresa coin dated 1780

Without seeing photos, I'm guessing that the 1976 dollar is a dual date, 1776-1976 Eisenhower Bicentennial dollar. The Maria Teresa thalers have been restruck many, many times and there are a lot of counterfeits that aren't silver floating around.

I understand the Maria Teresa coins are still used as currency in Africa and the Middle East. Mine has seen some use as there are many marks and scratches on the edges
