If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the Eisenhower dollars or the Presidential dollars?
The President dollars have all the charm of 3rd world dictator coins of the 1960's. Ike's are nice or " I Like Ike" :foot-mouth:
What's the story on that scar? It looks exaggerated. I noticed it a few days ago and wondered (for the first time.) RIP (darn the linkage - it's acting grinchly) http://www2.tboextra.com/mgmedia/image/0/354/212244/dallas-001/
I guess the fact that the Treasury has stockpiled 1.4 billion Prez dollars as of 2011 is all that needs to be said on this subject. Chris
Ike dollars for now (especially the blues and browns), but I could see myself and others wanting to get into the presidential series when president like Teddy, FDR, Ike, JFK, Nixon even and some newer ones like Carter (potentially), Reagan, Bush Sr (not likely). Then all of a sudden you'll kick yourself for not getting those Buchanans back in 2010!
Me too. The Nixon Liberian proof is on my hunt list. I like coins with controversial figures. Had to go with Ike on this poll. Funny how we will soon have 3 Eisenhower dollars; the Ike dollar, the Eisenhower commemorative, and the Eisenhower Presidential dollar.
Hmmm while i expected the Ike to be way ahead, i never expected that. But I agree a roll of Nixon's are a must
