here is mine guys got it yesterday and I like it btw I didnt photoshoped it looks like im the only one with ms66 I just registered it to my inventory and theres a population of 29
well was sort of hoping for a 66 but what the heck. since I have two rolls of Glaciers from the bank I can work on my grading skills of at least a 65!
I am disappointed. I got a Glacier 64, with a couple nice little gouges in Washington's cheek. Not sure that I even want to continue with it. Oh well, free is free, so I'll just move on....
Just got mine today. MS64 also with the same problems except mine is stained in a couple of spots. It's not a good looking coin, but hey, its free
I would be thrilled with a 64 coin if it was actually a 64 coin. I am starting to get the feeling many of these coins, all of them, are graded 2-4 points higher than they should be. In fact, I would be tickled pink to get a true graded 61 or 62 for reference of what such a coin should look like. However, to get a 64 graded coin that should have been graded 61 or 62 is disheartening on a couple of levels.
I just got a mailer from Newport Beach California and said to myself, "who the devil do I know in Newport Beach"? Dang. The boys made good on their offer.... Free is fun. Now off to put it in my registry set which, no doubt I am sure, shall be the envy of the PCGS site........
green, go start that championship registry set. I am sure every other quarter in the set will be a 70.
Pics later if I'm in the mood but it's not much to brag about lol... 2011-D Glacier (Montana) quarter, with an MS-65 I don't think it quite deserves to be honest. Or maybe my standards for 65 are higher than PCGS lol... it's not bad but has more marks than I think should be allowed on a 65.
I'm checking the mail now. In the middle of writing this post, I got a yell from down stairs "Your package arrived!". The irony! On top of that I got the same exact coin. The slightly more than coincidentally same coin. Consideing we live in the same area. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
