It can't be higher than MS67, because there are none graded MS68 or higher. It can't be MS 67 because that is not an option in the poll. The pictures are not great, so I'll say MS66.
ms-65, most of the free pcgs quarters were 65, only a few 64s from what i've seen ... so i'm not grading, i'm logicizing
While barely looking at the coin pictures I'm sure the slab says 65 on it. It's your free one from pcgs that you finally received right? Of all the ones I've seen people post they were all 65. Seems like the first batch were all Grand Canyon and this latest batch are all Glacier.
My sons friend got his in today and brought it over to show me. he got an ms66 glacier, that i would probably grade 62 tops with a rim ding and a milk spot. WTH is pcgs up to with these free slabs?
I think it only deserves 63 at best but I've seen several in this condition that PCGS gave 65, so I'm guessing that's what it got (this is probably one of the ones they were handing out for free to promote their registry service, and almost all graded 65, with a small handful of outliers that made 64 or 66). I think PCGS graded these very sloppily, maybe because they were giving them out free anyway. Though one would think if the whole idea behind giving these away was to promote their services, if anything they should be more exacting in their grading, not less. These can't make them look good. But hey, I got a free coin out of it. Granted in the shape it's in it's probably worth exactly 25 cents, but I paid 0 for it, so that's a profit of 25 cents. Might keep it in my collection just for the sake of having a souvenir. Or something to show people as a rebuttal for when they want to claim how exacting PCGS's standards are lol... Or maybe it just shows when you get a free service, you get exactly what you pay for.
