This is my 7070 collection i started about a year ago. Some people might not like the idea of breaking the coins out of the slabs but i have no intention of reselling any of them. Im working on getting pictures of each coin but this is what i have right now.

That is a neat idea of cracking out the labels to keep for reference/proof of grade, although you'd have to get them reslabbed if you changed your mind and sold them and wanted top money for them. I guess that's the reality of the 800lb gorilla that is TPGs.

I like it! Although by cracking all those coins out of slabs...you're much braver than I.

I'm currently working on a custom slabbed "7070" type set myself. I started with the Draped Bust Half Cent and end with the ASE Dollar. I use a 3" binder and 9-pocket slab pages. That way they display like an album, have the added protection of a slab along with coin attributes, and when I go to upgrade placeholder coins (the ones with detail grades) I can get top dollar because they're professionally graded already.

There's no right or wrong on how to do with your collection. It's a matter of what you like and enjoy collecting.

I feel that a slabbed coin is graded and protected from future damage by being encased.

A coin even in a Danco album can slide or fall out and possibly get scratched from the plastic sleeve.
There is now also the Probability of finger marks.

    Just saying.
