    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

    I've never seen machine tripling.

So do you think i may have something... I also noticed that its on USA, Lincolns head, and the State House.

The fact that it exists on Lincoln's head as well as the motto makes me think it is machine doubling/tripling, no premium unfortunately. Keep up the hunt!

Machine tripling isn't terribly uncommon. I see it from time to time, especially on mintmarks. The flat, shelfish look makes it definitely machine tripling.
Pretty cool example there though and I would hang onto it.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for taking the time to explain these things! I plan on making a notebook or a couple of 2X2 boxes of my Strike doubled coins for sure... If they ever get rid of the US Cent i might have something a collector would want to add to their collection. I enjoy seeing the coins up close and have a HUGE respect for how they are made with such precision on such a large scale... sorry for my rant...lol!
