Is This Lincoln Penny an Error

    OK -- I think I will have it checked by a NGC dealer (after the New Year) and i will be sure to let you guys know one way or the other -- Im no expert or even a serious collector -- just seems like to much of a co-incidence for the two coins to be almost identical.....

    There's nothing unique about the coin. I've seen hundreds just like it. 100% damage

    Two coins can be almost identical because they have both been damaged in the same way. By a dryer.

    my point is that any dryer can do that to any coin. so yes 2 different dyers in 2 different states can cause this to happen. it is identical because they are both dryer coins. i would expect a dryer most dryer pennies to look the same. just like if 2 different people in 2 different states using the same artificial methods can tone a coin exactly the same. it's not really rocket science. :thumb:
