here's what I believe to be a die crack and either corrosion or md or dd on the word "CENT" what do you guys think?
It doesn't appear to be a die crack because there is a point in the middle where it looks like it stops and starts up again. A die crack wouldn't do that. It also appears that there is machine doubling because it looks "flat and shelf-like". Chris
And for future reference, a die crack is raised caused by metal flowing into the crack during minting., not flat like on your coin.
