Capped bust half grade

    What would you grade this 1810 Bust half? It looks alot better in hand.

    I would say F details. Looks like an eraser job on part of it.

    Most of the scratches are on the holder and I take terrible pictures

    What kind of holder is it in? I would say take it out and re-photograph. My comments are actually on the high lighted area around the date. I have one where they used an eraser on the date and that is what it looks like. We can only grade off the pictures. Even if not cleaned my grade would be F-15 - I just don't think enough meat for VF even assuming weak strick(which it is in my opinion).

    It's in a old intercept shield holder and the light spot is the flash, I think, because it ain't on there in hand.

    F-15. the wings on the reverse will hold it down, on the obv. the hair is just not strong enough.
