Best pics I can take, and with that said, for you grading pleasure I present this 1968S circulation strike Lincoln cent graded by PCGS. What is the grade?

Let me add this and see if it makes a difference. The scratches and nicks are on the coin.

Excuse my newbie eyes, but that new picture looks very proof-like.

It is very "shiny" and the circulation strikes of this era had that proof like attribute, but you'll notice that the whole coin is the same, no contrast between the field and devices. Generally, the devices on a proof will have that frosty luster while the fields are mirror like.

Yes - thank you. I see the reflection or shine around the date and it made me think of a proof when looking at the field surrounding the date.

    MS62RD
Marks above the memorial on the reverse drops the grade pretty bad.
Those nicks are dang annoying, aren't they? Love those MS 1960's Linc's though.

With a username like lincolncent I imagine you're very fond of them! You know, I saw several other coins graded, close in year, that looked a lot worse than this one but graded 63. I hope lonegunlawyer ;)doesn't make me wait another day to find out what it's grade is.

Meh...I'll be ok. Maybe more will chime in.

Those are die polish lines I believe, common in 68. It was the last year for the obverse master hub.

The field hits are pretty distracting but these can be very lusterous. 64/65RD

    I think that's either a nice 5 or your photos stink. ;) :)

Wow. Nice. Is what I'm seeing on the reverse on the slab, then?
