1963 "error"?

    What the heck is up with the 3 in the date? Its almost like there is an extra 3 on top of the first.

    It's hard to tell from that photo. It's a little blurry, but from what I can see, it doesn't look like a "3". The shape of the bottom loop doesn't look right. It's possible that it could be a damaged "8". It doesn't take much to move metal around on most coins.

    sorry about the quality. I never even thought of it being a damaged 8. Its definitely "boogered" up that's for sure.
