Can't remember where else you would have elephants on coinages. Maybe Thailand, Sri Lanka, India and some other African nations would have them.

here is a large pic of the Somalia coin from my collection. Looking into it I found that this coin isnt even in circulation in Somalia as coins arent in regular use there (save coins of other nations)...its hard for them just to get paper money printed. There are quite a few Roman Elephant coins. This is an odd looking Elephant
