    I agree with both River and Thad on their above stated views. I could not really add more.

    if you send it back i think my 63 is right and thanks for the guess the grade it is very useful in assigning grades on future purchases.

    I think you are jumping to conclusions in terms of blaming NCG for the spotting.

    I don't disagree with your premise (the coin was spot free when submitted), but I think it is a bit of a stretch to "blame NGC" for it.

    Could it have happened at NGC? Sure. Could it have gotten worse over time? Possibly. Could it have happened before getting to NGC? We cannot rule it out.

    Therefore, we cannot assign blame, IMO.

    p.s. I think the lesson here is just a reinforcement of rule #1 when it comes to buying slabbed coins -- buy the coin, not the holder. :)
