Looks like a 1943 Copper Penny

    Could be any copper cent. With only 13 known to exist it is highly unlikely to be a 1943.

    After a bit of research, I think it's an even rarer find -- the previously unknown 1909-O trial strike!

    The product of a highly secretive effort by Mint employees to preserve the New Orleans mint as a going concern, this issue was doomed when the presses were set up by the same bozos who set them incorrectly for Morgan dollars. You see the result -- a strike so weak that it couldn't even be issued for circulation. Oh, well, it was worth a try.

    I'm pretty sure it's a 1961-D, struck in Dahlonega for the 100th anniversary of the mint closing.
