Grading thoughts? 1815 Hosterman & Etter Halfpenny Token

    I know, I have to buy a book on these soon. Either that, or check into a rehab. :missing-tooth:
    I thought this was a pretty nice example from what I have seen. Had to have it. I wonder what grade you might think it is on the Canadian token scale?
    I was guessing that it has a VF+ obverse and an easy XF reverse.

    Nobody has any thoughts on this? An 1814 version sold on eBay yesterday for almost 180.00 with more wear.

    I'll go out on a limb and give it a VF35, maybe even XF 40. I know that EAC's are graded with their own unique scale so I would like to hear from collectors of very early Large Cents.

    I think i agree with your assement vf obverse and xf reverse so maybe a 37-38 overall. Very nice pickup :D
