The die looks very crudely cut... I think the E was originally an F punch... And the R probably was an I punch (tho it could have been an upside down L) and they were changed by hand on the die.
I enjoy tokens. To me, this one is really cool in several ways. It has so much history behind it. The age and style of the letters and numbers. Nice token.
I admit I have been bitten by CWT's lately. I bought one recently that had been dug up in a church garden locally back in July that is very rare. I will image it and post it sometime with the whole story.
