Well, I've finally gotten around to posting some paper money. I know absolutely nothing about paper currency. Sorry about the bad, blurry scans. Thanks in advance for any help. I'll probably post more notes of interest soon. And here's a little info about the ones pictured here, in case you can't read the fine print, due to my poor quality scans.
    First, a 1963 five-dollar bill, with a red seal.
Second, and 1957 one-dollar silver certificate.
    Third, a 1935 one-dollar silver certificate.
And fourth, a one-dollar note from Canada. The date is "Ottowa, 2nd Jan. 1937"

All of the american notes are in very good condition, especially the 1935, which I would say is mint condition.
Anyone know the value of these? Does the letter in the serial number (ex. A, B, C, D, etc.) effect the value?

Have you checked your local public library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of Paper Money (aka Pick)?

So far as I can tell, your currency is worth either US$8.89 or Can$9.89.
